P-tal’s Copper water dispenser serves all the advantages of drinking water from Tambe ke bartan.

Formulations of copper or ‘Tamra’ are useful in a wide range of diseases and tamra patra is part of the ingredients of many pharmaceutical procedures.

Copper water dispenser is a uniquely handcrafted vessel meant for storing water. It has a unique round bottom appearance making it all the more attractive for our customers! It has a capacity of 5 litres and can also be customised as per our customers’ requirement. This finely hammered dispenser takes on and around 1 day to be handcrafted by our Thatheras. It has a tap fitted as its outlet for the convenience of our customers.

The water stored in a copper vessel for 8 hours is called ‘Tamra-Jal’. Drinking this water slows down ageing. According to Ayurveda, it also detoxifies the body and aids in weight loss.

It has been proven that Copper and Brass carry a lot of medicinal properties, which are tremendously beneficial for human health. Cleaning Hacks
The copper dispenser can be cleaned easily using commercial cleaners, for example: Vim Bar
They can be cleaned once in a while with ‘Pitambari’ to keep the shine intact.

The Thatheras of Jandiala Guru are a community of skilled craftsmen who specialize in the traditional technique of making hand crafted brass,copper and bell metal utensils by hammering metal sheets. This unique craft of the Thatheras of Jandiala Guru, Amritsar is the first craft from India to be inscribed in the UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2014. P-TAL is an epitome of transforming tradition into trend while converting practice into perfection thus moulding the vessels of hope!. P-TAL has been a two time recipient of the SKOCH Order of Merit, the highest Civilian Honour conferred by an independent organization.

In order to maintain the shine and spark of the products one should wash the utensil with Pitambari or brasso powder, readily available in the nearest general store. One can also use lemon water, tamarind or vinegar.
